Feels like we waited all summer for Zone 6 of the famed irrigated jump trail of Northstar to finally open up. Livewire received a lot of abuse over the weekend due to the 4 cross of the Pro GRT and the incredible number of participants for the Livewire Classic. Thanks to the trail crew for all of their efforts to make this trail super fun and strong enough to sustain the weekend.

Following the usual downhill race was the chainless category, which was dominated by Tasa, who hates to pedal anyway :)

And to wrap up an amazing day, the Northstar staff kept the Zephyr running a little late and trekked back up the hill for a whip contest. I was pretty (ok very) bummed that most of the ladies left, but I got Kirstie Douglas to come up and throw down with me. Okay, so maybe we still need to work on our whips, but that's what next weekend is all about. See you soon for
