Staycation Stop #3 - Pacifica

When holiday weekends hit Santa Cruz, naturally I want to get out of town...

so today being Memorial Day it was time to head up the coast, to shred Pacifica!!

And being a holiday, I decided to eat donuts, really big ones!!

Pacifica is the home of a favorite little ride spot of mine known as Boyscouts.  This location hosts all sizes of super smooth groomed jumps that intertwine through a network of criss-crossing flowy lines.  Tables, doubles, hips, g-outs, berms, yessssss.  Basically like an oversized downhill pumptrack.  Super fun!!

Boyscouts is a great little session spot with a painless climb up a fire road to get to the top. If you feel like venturing a bit farther, you can climb up and ride "the Mile," a bit rockier trail, less in the trees.  Or if you are feeling really awesome, climb or push your way up to "the Crack," a steeper more technical downhill.  We chose to kick it on Boyscouts all day long and get our jump on.
